If you prefer a slower pace, take the scenic gondola up Heavenly Mountain. The 2.4 mile ride offers panoramic views of Lake Tahoe. On your way, stop at the Observation Deck to capture the moment, and sip a cocktail at Cafe Blue.
Snowshoe or Hike
Prefer to keep your feet on the ground? Enjoy stunning lake views on snowshoes along the lakefront or summit Mount Tallac Loop. The trail is 10 miles total and worth every step. Be sure to wear the right gear—hiking boots preferred, this trail can be rocky.
